The essence of a great teacher is the student within.
Having studied and practiced many different forms of hatha yoga over the
past 9 years, from Iyengar, Astanga, Anusara, Bikram, Kundalini, Sivananda
etc. I have had the opportunity to explore, discover and nurture what truly
resonates with me.
I have gathered inspiration from many great yoga pioneers, Shiva Rea,
Rodney Yee, Charles MacInerney, John Friend, to name but a few.
Through their wealth of shared wisdom I have found my essence. Now bring
together all that I have come to embody and love in my teachings.
My style of teaching can be described as a deep, mid-paced practice guided
by the breath. This slow transitioning through essential poses allows the body
to release tension, build strength, stamina and increase flexibility.
Moving slowly through a yoga practice creates space for your mind to
rest awareness in the present moment, allowing your practice to become a wonderful
form of meditation.
